In the first half of the year, we debate in 3-on-3 style , with the “Easters” Australian Championships the focus early on. After Easters we add a “reply speech” to each team and we have the “Australs” Style. The Australasian Championships are the pinnacle of World 3-on-3 debating.

During Semester Two, we enter “ British Parliamentary Mode ”. This is four teams of two, with two teams Affirming: Opening & Closing Government; and two teams Negating: Opening & Closing Opposition. Throw in “Points of Information” and you have a scintillating mix. The pinnacle of British Parliamentary Debating is the World Championships over each new year.
